Dominik Mysterio Signs WWE Contract, Brutally Pays For It

Good news, Dominik Mysterio is officially a WWE wrestler

Dominik Mysterio Officially A WWE Wrestler

Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik has been around for some time, his status was not truly confirmed until now.

The official status comes as Dominik is getting ready to face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. There has been tension building between the wrestlers for some time.

Interestingly, the match between Seth Rollins and Dominik will be anything but regular. In a recent promo, it became clear that weapons would be involved during the match.

There were definitely weapons used last night:

It does need to be said that the match stipulation has not been announced officially. However, it is said that Mysterio can use weapons.

The match will take place at SummerSlam. At the moment, it is scheduled for August 23rd at a yet unknown location.

How Dominik Is So Different From Rey Mysterio

As WWE fans, we have seen Dominik grow up from a boy to a man. And while he is Rey’s son, there are some big differences between father and son.

Rey’s style has always been pretty high-flying. This stands in contrast with Dominik, who has a more grounded style.

During a past interview, Rey mentioned how he wanted his son to discover his own style. When you compare both men, it is clear he managed to do that.

Interestingly, Dominik also seems to be getting better on the mic. Rey has always been great in the ring, but less so on the microphone.

So, as Dominik surpasses his dad in the mic department, he will undoubtedly continue to grow in the wrestling ring as well.

A feud with Seth Rollins certainly gives him an amazing opportunity.

Dominik is also getting featured on one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year, one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year, SummerSlam. So, it is clear that the company has quite a bit of trust in Rey Mysterio’s son.

Other Matches On The Card

Other matches have been scheduled for SummerSlam. It is currently unclear where the match between Seth and Dominik will go.

I do not believe Dominik and Seth will go on the pre-show, mainly because Seth is A-list. There are plenty of other matches to contend with on the main card though.

Randy Orton versus Drew McIntyre may be the match that catches the main event spot. Then there is also The Fiend versus Braun Strowman.

If I were to have a guess, I would think that Seth and Dominik end up somewhere in the middle of the SummerSlam card.

Because of the coronavirus, SummerSlam will not take place in front of an audience. Evidently, this will have an impact on the viewership ratings for SummerSlam.

While WWE is doing their best to make SummerSlam as interesting as possible, there is only one really new feud on the card so far. That feud is the one between Seth Rollins and Dominik.

Contrary to some of the other feuds, Dominik and Seth have been building their story for months. So, it is will be interesting to see where this goes.
