David Arquette Returning To The Wrestling Ring To Prove Himself

Actor David Arquette’s run in the WWE (acquired WCW) is often laughed about by wrestling fans. Now, Arquette is looking to prove his critics wrong by returning to the ring.

‘Cathartic’ Return To The Wrestling Ring

David Arquette is a known Hollywood actor, but one with a passion for a passion for WWE and wrestling. In his new documentary, he makes a triumphant return to the wrestling ring.

Arquette believed he had something to prove after his last wrestling run in the WWE. And it seems he learned a lot about himself in the process.

“I learned a lot about myself about – just the need to be kind and love myself,” he described. “I’ve been beating myself up for so many years and just kind of holding onto a lot of unresolved pain that, you know, through this process and through a lot of therapy, I learned a lot about what I want out of life and how to get it.”

AEW’s Role During The Documentary

David Arquette actually had a really good bond with good bond with Luke Perry. Unfortunately, the latter died because of stroke complications.

Arquette recalled how Perry took him to the hospital after an unfortunate wrestling accident. Luke Perry’s son is actually a wrestler as well, and is currently wrestling for AEW.

To pay tribute to his late father, Jack Perry wrestled David Arquette. This match took place at the Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles last year.

Jack Perry is currently signed by AEW, wrestling under the name Jack “Jungle Boy” Perry. As a member of Jurassic Express, he has enjoyed quite a bit of success.

As you may expect, Jack won the match against David Arquette. But it was not about who won or lost, but the beautiful dedication match to Luke Perry.

At the end of the match, Arquette told Jack that he loved his father dearly. Both men then shared a hug in the ring.

Jack Perry later referred to David Arquette as family.

Could Arquette Make An Appearance At AEW?

It remains to be seen if Arquette will make an appearance at AEW. Of course, there is no denying that Arquette has improved considerably in the ring.

Arquette’s original run in WCW was quite inexperienced. After all, he was simply a draw for Hollywood fans.

Being a well-known Hollywood star and having improved in the ring, I do not think it is the worst idea to give him an give him an AEW run. I do not want to see him in the WWE again though.

One of the most interesting parts of a potential appearance is Arquette’s bond with Jack Perry. Maybe he could turn up to help Jurassic Express to an important title win?

Of course, David Arquette does make an excellent heel. How cool would it be if he joined The Inner Circle and went against Jack Perry and Jurassic Express?

In short, there are plenty of options for David Arquette in AEW. Since these options are not available in the WWE, AEW would be best for a larger-scale return.

But is AEW interested in a return for the Hollywood actor? Only time will tell.
