James Woods Ricky Gervais mock Hollywood liberals racism PSA

Hollywood liberals just can’t help but try to insert themselves into a crisis. A group of A-List actors put out a PSA against racism that is so mockable that it took the focus off racism and onto them. They are so blinded by their own self-importance that they failed to see the poor optics of their video. In true form, James Woods and Ricky Gervais stepped up to point out their hypocrisy.

There is no shortage of overpaid actors who think so highly of themselves that they feel they need to save us. As protests and riots continue throughout the country following George Floyd’s fatal encounter with a Minneapolis Police Officer, Hollywood is at it again to tell us how we can be better by following their lead.

“I Take Responsibility” Racism PSA Video

But, “I Take Responsibility” video which was done in partnership with the NAACP to encourage white Americans to call out racism was done so poorly that it almost feels like a Saturday Night Live skit.

Kristen Bell, Kesha, Aaron Paul, Stanley Tucci, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Debra Messing joined in to explain to us how our white privilege and silence is hurting society.

Each actor takes his turn reading a line, but it is clear that it is very rehearsed rather than genuine. It’s not heartfelt and you would think people who act for a living could do a better job of appearing real. Not these folks. It is as if they are in drama class attempting to outdo each other. As you can see from the script below, this shouldn’t be too hard but these actors made it about them rather than about the cause. They aren’t even encouraging financial donations by donating themselves.

“I take responsibility for every unchecked moment, for every time it was easier to ignore than to call it out for what it was. Every not-so-funny joke. Every unfair stereotype. Every blatant injustice no matter how big or small. Every time I remained silent. Every time I explained away police brutality or turned a blind eye. I take responsibility. Black people are being slaughtered in the streets. Killed in their own homes. These are our brothers and sisters. Our friends. Our family. We are done watching them die. We are no longer bystanders; we will not be idle. Enough is enough.”

James Woods And Ricky Gervais Mock Hollywood Liberals’ Hypocrisy

Conservative actor James Woods stepped up the plate to take a swing at this hypocritical video. He tells us to look at their eyes. These people aren’t sincere.

They are simply reading other people’s words off a teleprompter in an attempt to out dramatize each other. They are paid actors after all …

Watch the racism PSA video in Woods’ tweet below and see if you agree.

James Woods got an assist from Ricky Gervais. The British comedian and actor absolutely skewered Hollywood at the Golden Globes early this year.

Gervais has no tolerance for Hollywood’s constant elite attitude and hypocrisy. He had previous called out the absurdity of the celebrity “Imagine” video at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic so he was more than happy to take a swing at this absurd follow up video.

Gervais also pointed out in the tweet below that there is absolutely no diversity in this video.

This highlights the fact that Hollywood liberals think they need to live by a separate set of rules that they want to enforce upon the rest of us.

James Woods and Ricky Gervais are simply masters at using Hollywood liberal’s hypocrisy against them.

BOOM! That video is so terrible that these A-Listers should automatically be disqualified from Academy Award consideration the rest of their lives.

I don’t know about you but I’m just grateful that celebrities like James Woods and Ricky Gervais are still willing to speak against the grain.

The tide is turning and we need more sensible celebrities to use their platform for good!
