UFC 249 Results: Justin Gaethje Dominates, Henry Cejudo Retires

Welcome once again MMA fans to live action as UFC 249 takes place Saturday night.

The event goes down on a bevy of networks including ESPN, ESPN+, UFC Fight Pass and ESPN+ pay-per-view.

In the main event, Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje square off for the interim UFC lightweight title.

There is a second championship match, as the co-main event boasts Henry Cejudo defending his bantamweight belt against former titleholder Dominick Cruz.

All of the action kicks off on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass with two early prelims before shifting over to ESPN at 8 p.m. ET with four more bouts. That lineup features three former UFC champions in action.

It all ends on pay-per-view with the two title fights and three other bouts starting at 10 p.m. ET.

The event has been shuffled in recent hours thanks to the positive coronavirus test result of Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza. The Brazilian was scheduled to meet Uriah Hall, but Souza – and members of his fight team who also tested positive – were removed from the area after weigh-ins on Friday.

We will have complete coverage of all the action including results and the latest news surrounding UFC 249 right here for you.

So sit back, grab some snacks and enjoy the action! As Bruce Buffer will be saying in a few short hours, “It’s time!”
