Megan Rapinoe has a reputation for taking a stand against the National Anthem. Now, the ultra-feminist US Women’s soccer player is considering running for President. And of course, she took a stab at President Trump when she made the comment by calling him a “white nationalist.”

National Anthem During The World Cup

Megan Rapinoe, the controversial star of the US Women’s National Team, doesn’t have a reputation of being a patriotic American. She’s been hostile towards displays of American exceptionalism and pride.

Last summer, when playing in the World Cup, Rapinoe protested during the National Anthem as people around the globe watched.

She also said that she would not attend a reception at the White House after the US Women’s Soccer team took the top prize.

Now, even though she kneels or turns her back during the National Anthem, Rapinoe expressed aspirations to live in the White House.

When asked in a recent interview with VICE TV’s “Seat At The Table” if she is interested in pursuing politics, the 34-year-old soccer star confirmed that it is on her mind.

When pushed about which specific position she would run for, she stated that she wants to be the Commander-in-Chief. 

“President, of course,” Rapinoe said. “If I’m going to do it, I want the biggest, baddest post.”
The soccer star acknowledged there are more qualified and capable people who could be President, but Rapinoe fancies herself as an excellent delegator who would choose excellent cabinet members, so she believes that alone would qualify her for the top job.
Essentially, Rapinoe is saying that she would hire the best people – much as Trump said during his 2016 campaign.
Rapinoe was of course compelled to use her time in front of a microphone to bash President Trump. Not one to mince words, she declared that he is a racist who hates people. She fails to understand that she comes off as very hateful. 

Rapinoe Says Trump Is A White Nationalist

From TMZ: 

“We have a white nationalist — I think — in the White House,” Rapinoe told VICE TV’s Anand Giridharadas.

“And, the spewing of hate and the other’ing of the rest of the country has only led to more rife between people and more despair and more anxiety and more fear going forward.”

Rapinoe — a very outspoken critic of POTUS since he took office in 2017 — also says on VICE’s “Seat At The Table” (airs Wednesday) that Trump is also hurting his own supporters.
“It’s not like he’s giving them a bunch of jobs. It’s not like he’s made life really better for them. He’s just given them this false reason why maybe they’re not happy with their lives. There’s been no sort of path forward.”
It’s hard to imagine Rapinoe’s campaign going anywhere. Her experience is limited to kicking around a soccer ball. She doesn’t even have a grasp of basic economics.
As a radical feminist, Rapinoe is also a proponent of ‘equal pay’. So much so that she’s involved in a high profile lawsuit arguing that the US women’s soccer team deserves equal treatment.
Of course, a Judge just threw out the equal pay component of that lawsuit. Apparently the lawsuit ignored actual math.
