New reports are coming in that indicate Prince Harry is struggling with his new life living in Beverly Hills, California, where he reportedly feels “rudderless” and is “missing having a structure to his life.”
Harry Struggles To Adjust To Life In L.A.
Daily Mail reported that Harry has been living in an $18 million mansion in an exclusive part of Beverly Hills with his wife Meghan Markle and their son Archie since March.
The family moved to Meghan’s hometown of Los Angeles after they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family. At that time, Harry was stripped of the military appointments he held dear.
A source told Vanity Fair that though Harry has stayed “very busy keeping in touch with friends and colleagues” in the United Kingdom through video calls, he feels “a bit rudderless” without a job or friends in California.
“He has a lot of friends in the military community in the U.K. and of course he misses them,” the source explained. “This is a very strange time for us all, but I think Harry is missing having a structure to his life right now. He doesn’t have friends in L.A. like Meghan and he doesn’t have a job. So at the moment he’s a bit rudderless, but it won’t always be like this, and he knows that.”

Harry And William Are Back In Touch
Royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that one positive thing that has come about is that Harry and his brother Prince William are “back in touch,” much to the relief of the rest of the royal family.
“They have done video calls together, they have done a lot of family birthdays and I think with Prince Charles not being well, that really forced the brothers to pick up the phone and get back in touch,” Nicholl said. “I think Kate and William miss Harry and Meghan to a degree, but certainly they miss Harry [being] around and part of their lives.”
Harry misses life in the military in particular.
“He misses the camaraderie of being in the forces,” a source close to him said. “He has been telling friends he still can’t believe this has happened. He can’t believe his life has been turned upside down.”

“Megxit” as it has been dubbed has certainly paid off for Meghan. She returned to her hometown as a princess. And, she’s finally achieving the ritzy A-list Hollywood lifestyle that she dreamed of for years working as a struggling actress.
In contrast, Harry has had to leave everything he knows and loves to move to an entirely different world.

He’s also sold off some of his prized handmade rifles and given up hunting apparently at Meghan’s request.
To make matters even worse, Hollywood is infamous for being one of the most superficial places on the planet. So, adjusting to life there is no simple task for anyone, particularly someone from a foreign country. And, not that they’ve put up privacy screens, he is even more isolated. Did they really think people wouldn’t find out where they were living?
