Meghan Markle Gets Shut Down – ‘Experience As A B-List Actress’ Doesn’t Prepare You For Royal Life

Meghan Markle is undoubtedly feeling a bit humiliated right now after a respected royal commentator referred to her as a “B-list actress” who was not well-prepared for life as a royal after her marriage to Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle Being An Actress Didn’t Prepare Her For Royal Life

Royal expert Katie Nicholl told 9Honey that though Meghan had experienced some fame as a moderately successful actress on the cable network television show “Suits”, it did nothing to prepare her for what life would be like after marrying a royal.

“I think what she encountered was almost impossible to prepare for and certainly her experience as a B-List actress wasn’t going to stand her in [good] stead,” Nicholl said. 

Harry announced his engagement to Meghan in 2017. Some initially thought that her experience in Hollywood would prepare her for the scrutiny that comes with being a royal.

But Nicholl says that this proved not to be the case.

“As an actress, she was used to being photographed but she’s said herself there was this suggestion that she would be able to handle the press attention and find her way in the spotlight because of her previous experience,” Nicholl said.

“Whereas actually, I think what she encountered was almost impossible to prepare for and certainly her experience as a B-list actress wasn’t going to stand her in [good] stead for suddenly becoming the most famous woman in the world.”

“It became very apparent from that documentary in Africa, that perhaps while she made it look easy, it obviously wasn’t easy,” she continued.

Daily Mail reported that Nicholl was referring to the documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey”. That’s the documentary where Meghan became emotional as she never expected the level of scrutiny she received after marrying Harry.

When discussing the challenges she faced since becoming a royal, a visibly-emotional Meghan explained, “I’ve said for a long time to H—that’s what I call him—it’s not enough to just survive something, right? That’s not the point of life. You’ve got to thrive, you’ve got to feel happy.”

Clearly, royal life did not agree with Meghan, and she eventually got her way.

As evidenced by the couple’s choice to step down as senior members of the British royal family earlier this year. And their subsequent move to Meghan’s hometown of Los Angeles, California.

There, they are living in the posh $18 million mansion of Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry. Oprah Winfrey set them up in their temporary digs while the couple looks for a home of their own.

Conveniently, the mansion is a perfect launching pad for Meghan to resume chasing her Hollywood dream.

It’s Hard To Feel Sorry For Meghan

It’s hard to feel too bad for Meghan when you look at the extravagant A-list lifestyle she is living.

At this point, she needs to stop her whining and get over herself.

The vast majority of us would trade places with her in a heartbeat – even with the media scrutiny.
