Jay Leno Takes Blake Shelton For Joyride In Elvis’ Truck
Last Wednesday, Shelton appeared on former “The Tonight Show” host Jay Leno’s new CNBC show “Jay Leno’s Garage”, where he got to go for a joyride in a vintage GMC truck.
In the clip below, you’ll see the moment when Shelton learns that the truck once belonged to the late great Elvis. Leno tells Shelton after he is already in the vehicle, and the singer’s reaction is priceless!
“This is Elvis’ truck, we had it shipped out here for you to drive,” Leno told Shelton. “I wanted you to get the feel of it.”
Shelton was surprised by this revelation since Elvis isn’t remembered as much of a pickup man, as he had a reputation for driving around in luxury vehicles.
“He did drive a truck,” Leno explained. “He had a lot of vehicles. So you are sitting where the King sat.”
“Now I’m getting nervous,” the country superstar admitted. “That is literally unbelievable. I never would’ve dreamed that Elvis Presley even owned a truck.”

Jay Leno Encourages Blake Shelton To Run A Traffic Light
Leno is known for being someone who is always up for mischief, so it should come as no surprise that he encouraged Shelton to disobey a traffic light while driving a vehicle that belonged to arguably the most legendary rock’n roller of all time.
“You see, when you’re driving Elvis’ truck, you can go through red lights,” Leno said. “That’s one of the superpowers you get.”
