The Christian musicians concluded their statement by citing the New Testament Bible verse Romans 8:38, which partly says, “I am convinced that nothing can separate us from God’s love … nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved,” they added. “Ever thankful and grateful for how God has used this band, the music and the relationships and how He continues to do so.”

Others, however, took Steingard’s side:

We will continue to pray for Steingard, regardless of whether he believes in God or not.

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
