UFC In The 2010s: Looking Back At Female Featherweight Division

After dominating other promotions, Cris Cyborg finally made her way to the UFC.

At UFC 214 in Anaheim, California on July 29, 2017, Cyborg won the belt, besting Tonya Evinger. The title had been declared vacant.

Cyborg would score defenses over both Holly Holm and Yana Kunitskaya before losing it. She held the belt for 517 days in all.
