UFC 248 Weigh-in Results: Yoel Romero Last to Hit The Scales, But Makes Weight

There’s been a lot of talk and concern recently about whether Yoel Romero would make championship weight for his bout on Saturday with middleweight champ, Israel Adesanya. Well, although the decorated wrestler was the last fighter to hit the scales this AM, Romero did make weight for the UFC 248 headliner.

The title fights are official

All of the competitors scheduled for Saturday’s title fights hit their marks. Romero came in 185 pounds for the main event, while the champ Adesanya was 184.5.

At strawweight, champion Zhang Weili tipped the scales at 115, as did the division’s former champ, Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

The only fighter who missed weight was Emily Whitmire, who was 117.5, for her bout with strawweight, Polyana Viana.
