Paige Has Emergency Surgery

Paige Has Emergency Surgery

Paige

Paige, the first-ever NXT women’s champion, was forced under the knife during an emergency surgery earlier this week. The 27-year-old had to have an ovarian cyst removed after the pain became too unbearable.

“Just an update. I’m fine you guys!” she posted on Twitter. “No more pain and healthy af! Haha just another small speed bump. I’m used to it. Haha so thankful for Ronnie Radke.”

Boyfriend Forced To Cancel Gig

Radke, Paige’s boyfriend, was forced to cancel an event. That also caused some issue with fans as he explained on social media.

“Sacramento, not only did my drummer fall completely ILL to food poisoning, (Paige) had to have an emergency surgery to remove an ovarian cyst,” he wrote. “So even if my drummer wasn’t sick I still would’ve canceled. So if you’re made…don’t buy another ticket to my show again.

“I could cancel the show from getting the corona virus and somebody would still be like ‘but I drove 250 miles, why couldn’t you just lay down and perform’ makes me not want to perform at all. Tired of this ungrateful shit. Take only what you need from me.”

The surgery forced Paige to miss the most recent episode of WWE Backstage. She also was the main focus of the 2019 feature film Fighting with My Family, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vince Vaughn.

NXT Superstar Fires Back On Pay

Taynara Conti

Taynara Conti is unhappy with her contract as a WWE NXT superstar.

Conti reportedly walked out of the WWE Performance Center, cleaning out her locker in the process. Although, she also attended a live NXT event donning a t-shirt that read “Released.”

Later, Conti took to social media and posted a video displaying her paycheck.

“The numbers don’t lie, neither do I,” she said. “Looks like the numbers are always higher when my name (is) involved.”

Conti debuted with the WWE in the inaugural Mae Young Classic, debuting in NXT in 2017. Her profile page remains active with the WWE.

The 24-year-old from Brazil was involved in the WrestleMania 35 women’s battle royal, becoming the first female from her country to compete at the event.
