Ring Causes Engagement Speculation For WWE Legend John Cena and His New Girlfriend

Nikki Bella has moved on from her relationship with John Cena as she is now engaged to Artem and pregnant with her first child. And, it now seems that WWE veteran John Cena has moved on as well.

Is John Cena Engaged To His New Girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh?

Shay Shariatzadeh and John have been together for a while, but did not make their red carpet debut until October last year. Eagle-eyed fans are constantly looking for changes in their relationship status ever since, and it looks like there might be a development.

A Twitter group called @JohnCenaCrews broke the rumor after Shay was spotted with a huge ring on her engagement finger. While one could argue that this is a coincidence, there are some other signs that point to the engagement story being true.

On Valentine’s Day, John also shared an imagine stating “say yes,” which also sparked a lot of discussion among fans about a possible engagement. Still, even though the signs point to yes, it is not necessarily the case.

Will John Cena Get Married Again?

Over the years, Cena has stated that he had no intentions of getting married again. Before he met Nikki Bella, Cena had a bunch of relationships that hit the rocks, including a marriage. So, it is was not difficult to believe why marriage was out of the question for him.

Despite his reservations about marriage, he eventually proposed to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania. Fans were delighted, but the fairy tale would end only a few weeks before their wedding. Nikki and John called off their engagement and eventually their relationship. It is believed that the reason for the breakup was the fact that Nikki wanted children and John did not.

A couple of months after their breakup, it was revealed that Nikki was dating Artem Chigvintsev. Interestingly, he was her dance partner during Dancing with the Stars. While she met him while dating John, their relationship did not start until Nikki and John broke up.

Moving Too Fast?

Once it was revealed Nikki was dating Artem, John was spotted alongside Shay. Their relationship became official in October, where they appeared together during a red carpet event.

Shortly after the official reveal, Nikki disclosed she was engaged to Artem. And only a little while after that, she announced she was pregnant with her first child.

John Cena and Nikki Bella were together for many years. While I wish both nothing but happiness, the speed of these life-changing events is somewhat worrying. On the other hand, I have no doubt that both couples are happy at the moment. I just hope no decisions are taken as a reaction.

If Cena and Shay are engaged, I am sure we will hear something about it in the nearby future. John is not someone to make rash decisions though, just look at how long it took for him to propose to Nikki. So, it is all speculation at this point.
