Jennifer Lopez Super Bowl Halftime Show Fuels Far Left Trump Bashing Over “Kids In Cages”
Jennifer Lopez halftime Super Bowl show is fueling renewed attacks against President Donald Trump over his immigration policies.
During her halftime show at the Super Bowl last night, Jennifer Lopez caught the attention of the far left and renewed attacks on President Donald Trump over “kids in cages”.

50-year-old International superstar Jennifer Lopez’s 11 year-old Emme Maribel Muniz was one of around a dozen children who crawled out of cages as Lopez belted out “Born in the U.S.A.”

“The kids eventually joined Emme onstage and surrounded her as a backing choir, all in white sweatshirts with rhinestone American flags emblazoned across the front,” Billboard reported.
Democrats Blame Trump For Kids In Cages
Radical liberals saw this as an opening to renew one of their poster causes. Claiming the young performers “in cages” during Jennifer Lopez’ performance is clearly a reference to their accusations that President Trump is responsible for illegal alien children being separated from their parents at the border. And that a Trump policy landed those children in cages.

In reality, however, it was Barack Obama who started this child separation policy, which President Trump ended in the summer of 2018.

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, who also performed at the Super Bowl, were recruited to perform by the rapper Jay-Z. The lineup followed Jay-Z’s announcement that he would be teaming up with the NFL on social justice projects.
“At the time, the league had been getting push back from numerous celebrities, like Rihanna and Cardi B, and fans who were upset with how former NFL player Colin Kaepernick was treated by the league following his on-field protests,” The Hill reported.

The Super Bowl is a massive American sporting event meant to be enjoyed by everyone. Regardless of your politics.
Which is precisely why it’s so unfortunate that Lopez decided to make an apparent liberal political statement.
After all, her performance would have been more enjoyable for everyone if she had left politics out of it.
