Undertaker & Ronda Rousey At WrestleMania, MVP Done With WWE?

Report: Undertaker, Ronda Rousey Not Working WrestleMania 36

Many have believed that the WWE would bring The Undertaker and Ronda Rousey back in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 36.

That, though, does not appear to be the case.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Undertaker is working on a potential appearance, but no match is being discussed. A string of appearances starting in 2000 ended last year when Undertaker did not compete.

His last in-ring WrestleMania was in 2018 with a victory over John Cena.

As for Rousey, initial plans with Charlotte Flair now appear to be tabled. Officials wanted to put the former champion with Flair last year, but Becky Lynch forced a change.

That left the door open for 2020 and WrestleMania, but Flair won the Royal Rumble and is slated to challenge Rhea Ripley for the NXT title.

Last year, Rousey lost her title in a Triple Threat match with Flair and Lynch. It was Lynch who walked out of WrestleMania 35 the big winner, scoring a main event victory.

WrestleMania 36 is set for Sunday, April 5 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The event will stream live on WWE Network.

MVP’s WWE Run Over After RAW Appearance

MVP turned in quite the career with the WWE. Now, the former United States champion says he is finished with the company.

On the most recent edition of RAW, MVP wrestled Rey Mysterio, suffering a loss from San Antonio, Texas. He confirmed on Instagram that it was indeed his “FINAL WWE match.”

“One for the history books. My FINAL WWE match took place on Monday Night RAW against my close friend and legend (Mysterio),” he wrote. “A great way to close out that chapter. The end of my career looms larger every month. It’s been one HELL of a ride! I’m not finished just yet.

“But soon. Very soon. Thank you WWE and the (WWE Universe) for all the love!!! What an amazing week I’ve had.”

MVP was among the surprise entrants into the 2020 Royal Rumble, coming in at No. 12. He was eliminated by WWE champion Brock Lesnar after just 24 seconds.

The 46-year-old made his first appearances for the WWE from 2006-to-2010. He won the United States title twice and was the WWE tag team champion with Matt Hardy.

MVP also competed for TNA and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He was the IWGP Intercontinental champion with NJPW.
