Kathy Griffin Smacked Down By Donald Trump Jr. After Smearing Trump Official’s Military Service Record

Comedian Kathy Griffin, who is best known at this point for posing with the severed head of President Donald Trump, just got destroyed publicly by Donald Trump Jr. after she tried to question the military service of Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark Esper.

Kathy Griffin Misrepresents Esper’s Military Service

It all started when Griffin took to Twitter to ask her followers, “Who is the current secretary of defense?,” a question that shows already just how ignorant this woman is.

When one of her followers responded, Griffin characteristically came unhinged and fired off a series of lies about the Trump administration official.

“Ok, it’s time to admit how ignorant we are. His name is Mark Esper,” she wrote. “Trump chose him because he used to work at Boeing. He was a captain in the army during a non-war period.”

Like most liberals who are hopelessly infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome, Griffin did not bother to look into the facts before she smeared a member of the president’s administration.

First of all, Mark Esper has never worked for Boeing . So it’s impossible that this is the reason that President Trump hired him.

Secondly, easily accessible public records show that Esper is a veteran who saw combat while serving with the 101st Airborne Division during the 1990-1991 Gulf War.

The Department of Defense even pointed out that Esper has received many awards during his time serving our country:

Dr. Esper is a recipient of the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service. Among his many military awards and decorations are the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal-Saudi Arabia, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.

Trump Jr. Fires Back At Kathy Griffin

Sickened that Kathy Griffin would stoop so low as to question the service of a military veteran just to fuel her hatred for the president, Donald Trump Jr. took her down in a statement to Daily Wire:

“The left can’t even be creative with their lies anymore. Secretary Esper is a combat veteran who was awarded both the Bronze Star and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge. He served as Secretary of the Army. He’s a West Point & Harvard graduate with a PhD from George Washington University. And he never worked for Boeing. That tweet is quite similar to Griffin’s career — a bad joke and a failure.”

Now that’s got to hurt!

Others jumped in to defend Esper as well, with Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) saying, “Secretary Esper is a proven warrior who walks the walk and is an amazing patriot who has been an exceptional Secretary of Defense thus far.”

A former senior White House official added, “Mark Esper is a decorated combat veteran and has earned the respect from every American for his service. The same can’t be said for Kathy Griffin, whose claim to fame is being a pathetic comic trying to revive her failed, worthless career.”

Griffin Hits New Low

The D-lister has done some pretty despicable things since allowing her hatred for President Trump to consume her in recent years. But questioning the service of a military hero is especially low.

Griffin is a spoiled Hollywood liberal who knows nothing about the horrors Esper has seen while serving his country, so she is the last person who should be questioning the sacrifices he has made.

It’s time for Griffin to get off social media and get some help for her Trump derangement syndrome. All she’s doing at this point is embarrassing herself and further showing the world what little respect she has for her country.
