Kathy Griffin Claims Conservatives Don’t Like Her Because She’s a ‘Self-Made Woman’

Comedian Kathy Griffin has just come forward once again to slam conservatives, claiming that they only don’t like her because she is a “self-made woman.”

Fox News reported that Griffin has found herself being criticized by much of the nation, regardless of political affiliation, ever since she posed with the severed head of President Donald Trump months after he took office. The image was so disturbing that even liberal CNN host Anderson Cooper called it “appalling,” yet Griffin claims that the subsequent backlash she has received is because she is a woman over 50, rather than because she is a person who made light of decapitating the sitting president of the United States.

“I feel a lot of this is because I’m a 58-year-old woman. I’m a successful stand-up comedian, which flies in the face of everything Trump and his folks believe,” Griffin told Variety. “I think my impression is they’re just offended by the audacity that I want to continue to work and be successful and I’m a self-made woman.”

Like most Democrats, Griffin is conveniently ignoring that many conservatives are self-made women themselves, as the left tries to portray the Republican Party as solely a group of “old white men.” Democrats have become so obsessed with race that they can’t understand that Republicans are far more interested in policy than they are in anyone’s race, gender, or age.

Griffin wanted to host a show with Stormy Daniels

Griffin continued to play the victim throughout the interview, whining that television networks turned down her “genius” idea of hosting a special with porn star Stormy Daniels. She also expressed hopes that this would all end with her scoring a lucrative contract of some sort, just as it did for race-baiter Colin Kaepernick when he got his deal with Nike.

“I’m very acutely aware I’m tied to that photo for the rest of my life,” Griffin said. “People confront me in the street. They think I’m ISIS. And then it becomes funny. At the moment it’s scary, and then I go home and go, ‘OK, really?’ I’ve just learned to accept that. I wish I could go the [Colin] Kaepernick route, where this ends in me getting a $100 billion Nike contract.”

It’s astounding that Griffin continues to play the victim in every way over a scandal in which she threatened the president’s life. Trump derangement syndrome has fried her brain to the point that she can’t even see that threatening the sitting president comes with serious consequences, regardless of who is occupying the White House.

In the end, Griffin should understand that her age and gender do not factor into why us conservatives don’t like her at all. Instead, we dislike her because she is an ignorant lunatic who threatened our president in one of the most disgusting ways possible.
