John Cena Reacts To Nikki Bella’s Engagement, Kevin Nash Retires

Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev – her former Dancing with the Stars dance partner – are engaged! WWE veteran John Cena has now responded to the engagement of his former fiancé. In other news, Kevin Nash has spoken out about his retirement.

John Cena Is Happy For Nikki Bella

John Cena and Nikki Bella split on amicable terms, despite the fact they split a short time before the wedding. According to a source close to John, he is very happy for Nikki Bella. Another source also mentioned that John has moved on as well, even though he has a lot of history with Nikki Bella.

“John and Nikki are on great terms, he wants nothing but the best for her. And it’s not a big shock or anything, John knows how happy she is with Artem and how much she wants to settle down so he was expecting this sooner or later. He will always cherish his memories with Nikki but he’s moved on too. John’s very happy with his girlfriend Shay so that makes it easier to accept Nikki moving on.”

As you may know already, Cena is currently in a relationship with a woman who looks very remarkably like Nikki Bella, at least if popular opinion is to be believed. His new girlfriend is Shay Shariatzade and the pair have been spotted in public several times. TMZ first reported the story when the couple were seen out in Vancouver, Canada; this during the time when he was shooting the Playing with Fire film. So, it seems both parties are happy for one another.

Kevin Nash Is Officially Done With Wrestling

Kevin Nash, a.k.a. Big Sexy, is heading for his second Hall of Fame induction and is one of the biggest icons in the wrestling world. Even though Nash has kept wrestling since departing from the WWE, he has revealed on social media he is now officially done. When a fan asked him if he attended a certain wrestling event in Durham, he had the following to say.

So, it seems Kevin Nash has tied up his wrestling boots for the last time. This is not necessarily a bad thing, especially when you consider his knees have been quite problematic for quite some time.

Even though Kevin Nash does not seem to want to wrestle again, it does not mean we will not see him in the future. In fact, he is set to be inducted in the Hall of Fame again in 2020. On top of that, he has been looking into acting. The acting role he acquired apparently coincided with Chris Jericho’s wrestling cruise, which he cancelled.

So, we will get to see plenty of Kevin Nash despite his retirement. While many of us will miss Big Sexy in the ring, he is getting older. Injuries become more dangerous as Father Time wreaks havoc. Therefore, it is not a bad thing that he is retired now. Nevertheless, we would like to thank Nash for the countless amazing wrestling moments over the years.
