Prince William reveals what Prince George wants for Christmas

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, is happy to let the world know what his six-year-old son Prince George wants for Christmas this year.

What Prince George Wants For Christmas

Fox News reported that while appearing on Mary Berry’s “A Berry Royal Christmas,” William and his wife Kate Middleton opened up about George and revealed what he is hoping to be given for Christmas.

“George has already written his list for Father Christmas,” William said. “He loves his drawing – he’s a very good drawer. We might get him something for drawing. Or football [soccer]. He is loving his football as well.”

When asked if George is a soccer fan, William replied, “Yes, I’m afraid so. I try not be biased. [sic] I said you can support anyone but Chelsea. So naturally [George] supports Chelsea.”

Though George is apparently a Chelsea fan, they clearly are not the only team he roots for. Two months ago, the royals were spotted at an Aston Villa vs Norwich game. Little George was seen wearing an Aston Villa T-shirt while gleefully cheering on the team.

William and Kate Want Their Children to Have a Normal Childhood

This comes weeks after a source close to the family said that William and Kate have made giving their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, a normal childhood their top priority.

“Kate has always wanted the children to live in the real world,” the insider told The Sun. “She and [husband] Prince William don’t want them to live in a gilded bubble. They want them to grow up having the same experiences as other kids.”

The source went on to say that when it comes to raising her children, Kate is trying to follow in the footsteps of her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, who had no problem breaking tradition when it came to rearing William and his younger brother Prince Harry.

“Kate is mindful of how much William loved his mother,” the source explained. “She was very unstuffy and wanted William and Harry to fit in with their school friends and experience normality. That’s the baton she handed to Kate.”

Kate Is Thriving as a Mother and a Royal

Royal expert Katie Nicholl, author of “Kate: The Future Queen” admitted that while it’s taken some time for her to find her footing as a mother and a royal, she is now thriving.

“She’s had to master juggling her different roles – a royal, a wife and a mum,” said Nicholl. “But she strikes me as a confident and happy young woman who has got the balance right.”

It’s always nice to be reminded that even though they are royals, the royal family really is just like the rest of us.

We hope that William, Kate and their children have a very merry Christmas!
