Locations WrestleMania 37 PPVs

WWE is preparing for WrestleMania 36, which comes from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. At the same time, they are also scouting the location of WrestleMania 37 in 2021.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the leading candidate remains Los Angeles, with the the SoFi Stadium being the big attraction. James T. Butts Jr., Inglewood, California Mayor, confirmed earlier in the year that the area was one of the finalist. At the same time, Las Vegas has been discussed.

A reason for SoFi Stadium, from local officials perspective, is that the arena is scheduled to host the Super Bowl in 2022. They believe having WrestleMania 37 take place the year before will help them learn of any potential issues due to the large attendance numbers and have them resolved come time for Super Bowl LVI.

SoFi Stadium can hold 70,240 people for the Super Bowl and 100,240 for events such WrestleMania, FIFA World Cups, Olympic Games and music concerts.

WWE should shortly be announcing the location for WrestleMania 37.

As for other major pay per views, WWE is also working on venues. Wrestle Votes noted that WWE is likely headed to Dallas, Texas, for the 2020 Survivor Series at the American Airlines Center. For the 2021 Royal Rumble, the T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington, is a favorite. The T-Mobile Park hosted WrestleMania 19 and drew over 54,000 fans.

Dana Brooke’s Push

Dana Brooke has been on the main roster since 2016, but rarely featured in major storylines. She was a member of Titus Worldwide and also was a valet for Charlotte Flair.

Over the past year, Brooke has been getting more TV time. She is currently working with Lacey Evans against the the duo of Sasha Banks and Bayley. While we are seeing more of Brooke, WWE does not view her as a top draw.

On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed how she is still seen as enhancement talent. It appears the current increase in TV time is just a matter of luck considering who are the babyfaces on SmackDown.

“That’s what you have enhancement talent for and Dana Brooke is enhancement talent,” said Meltzer. “So, she’s there when they need a heel — now Dana Brooke may get a win now — you know because they do 50/50 booking, it won’t mean anything too much. But you know she’s not the one being pushed.”

“Lacey Evans is the one that they’re behind. Dana’s just there to lose when they need a loss. If they need a win she’ll take a win.”

In the past, Brooke has been praised by her peers for the handwork she continues to put forward. It just seems that WWE has certain names in mind that they are pushing.

The extra TV time has nothing to do with her current relationship with Dave Batista. The 2020 WWE Hall of Famer and Brooke have been grabbing attention as they started flirting on social media.
