Rock's HBO Show News + CM Punk-FS1 + WrestleMania 37 Site

The Rock’s HBO Show Ending

-Ever since leaving WWE, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has grown into one of the biggest film and television stars on the planet. He’s starred in several Fast and Furious movies already, including this summer’s spin-off, Hobbs and Shaw.

One of The Rock’s other projects has been the HBO show Ballers.

We have now learned that, after the show concludes it’s fifth season, there will be no more shows. The news was reported by The Hollywood Reporter, as well as on The Rock’s Instagram.

CM Punk To FS1?

-In something of a curious note, CM Punk‘s representatives may have reached out to people over at Fox and FS1 about a surprising potential gig.

As has been well-covered, Fox will be the new home for WWE’s SmackDown Live starting in October. As a part of the new partnership between WWE and Fox, there will be other WWE related programming headed over to Fox and it’s family of networks-including FS1.

Per the Wrestling Observer, Punk’s agents reached out to see if there might be interest in bringing the former WWE Champion in for a spot in the WWE studio show.

However, it may end up being the agency doing it’s homework and nothing else. Punk has expressed no interest in returning to WWE in any capacity, and WWE thus far has indicated there’s nothing to the report.

Possible WrestleMania 37 Sites?

-We aren’t even on the Road To WrestleMania 36, and yet we are already hearing chatter about where the 2021 edition may be calling home.

Per Arash Markazi of the LA Times, Los Angeles is one of the finalists to host WM37.

It seems that the event would end up in LA for either 2021 or 2022, with the city seeking for major events to showcase it’s yet-to-be-finished new stadium in Inglewood.

In addition to Los Angeles, it appears that Las Vegas (itself gaining a brand-new stadium for the relocating NFL Raiders) and two other as-yet unnamed finalists.
