A Michigan high school student is speaking out after allegedly being assaulted by a teacher last week for wearing a “Women For Trump” pin. Criminal charges were filed.
Teacher Allegedly Assaults Student Over Pro-Trump Pin
Sadie Earegood, a 16-year-old junior at Mason High in the town of Mason, told Fox News yesterday that her teacher “aggressively” grabbed her “Women For Trump” pin that she was wearing on her jacket, adding that he “took both hands and unlatched the pin from my jacket and put it upside down on his shirt and said it belongs upside down.”
Sadie went on to say that the incident occurred last Thursday during school hours. She explained to WILX that it all started when the teacher said that he did not like her pin.
“I was just really shocked that a teacher would especially do that,” Sadie recalled. “He’s talking about the ‘Women for Trump’ pin and I said, ‘that’s fine you don’t have to like it, we can have our opinions.'”

Sadie Fights Back Against Teacher
In a move that President Trump himself would undoubtedly approve of, Sadie fought back rather than give up her pin willingly.
“He grabbed it and I pulled, I tried to push his hand away and he grabbed my shoulder,” she said. “(He) just kind of put his hand there, and then he started pulling more and more and I just started backing up.”
Sadie said the teacher then put the pin on his own shirt upside down, saying it belongs that way. Her shocked family has since filed a police report in which they accused the teacher of assaulting the teenager.
“He had no right to put his hands on my child over a pin or anything else,” said Capi Earegood, Sadie’s mother. “The First Amendment gives everyone the right to express their freedom of speech. No one should get that upset about someone wearing a political pin.”
Mason Public Schools said that they called police after Sadie issued a complaint about the teacher’s actions. The district refused to give any more details, citing federal laws that prohibit school districts from discussing student-related information with anyone other than law enforcement.

Sadie Won’t Stop Wearing Her ‘Women For Trump’ Pin
Despite everything that happened, Sadie has no intention of stopping wearing her pin.
“I just want him to know that it’s not okay to do that,” Sadie said. “I want this to be a learning experience for other teachers, and I’m not going to stop wearing my political stuff.”
Unfortunately, this does not come as much of a surprise given the way pro-Trump students are treated all over America these days. While liberals play the victim, they are repeatedly the aggressor. Persecuting young conservatives and putting them in danger every day.
We applaud this young woman for fighting back and for trying to bring her anti-Trump teacher to justice.
Teachers all over America should take notice of this. It simply is not their place to tell our children how to think politically.
