With the Second Amendment under assault by gun grabbing liberals, liberty-loving people have found a way to fight back using the left’s own tactics against them — by establishing Second Amendment Sanctuaries. What this means is that some areas will not enforce certain gun control measures that are perceived to violate the Second Amendment. If the left can have sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants, we should be able to have them for the Second Amendment.
Gun Control and Second Amendment Sanctuary Movement
DC liberals have invaded central Virginia and are trying to change the political landscape of that state. The state traditionally has respected Second Amendment rights. However, with the Democrats sweeping the latest elections, gun grabbing is on the horizon. There is serious concern about rights being infringed. To combat the liberal gun grabbers, people are coming out in droves to speak on behalf of Second Amendment rights. Cam Edwards from Bearing Arms attended the vote in Amelia County, Virginia this week.

Virginia isn’t the only state where sanctuary ordinances have passed. Gun Owners of America are on the front lines helping this movement sweep the nation. In fact, GOA has an activist kit to help turn where you live into a Second Amendment Sanctuary. They’re reporting this movement has been successful in 19 states so far. This idea has caught on very quickly.
Recently, counties in Virginia, Wisconsin, Florida, Tennessee, and Arizona have enacted Second Amendment Sanctuary Ordinances (SASOs), bringing the total number of states that have passed them to 19.

Putting a Stop to Gun Grabbers

“This draws a line in the sand. It doesn’t mince words. And I hope it sends a message to what can be described as the authoritarian control freaks,” Blake said. “[They] see it as their jobs to forcibly disarm their fellow citizens, and with all due respect, that won’t be happening in Lake County,” Blake then referenced former Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke’s infamous, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,” spew.
Some Republican states already have similar measures in place to combat the federal government’s infringement of Second Amendment rights in those states. Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming, and Kansas have declared they will not comply with any federal gun laws that they view as unconstitutional.
