The preview for UFC 243’s “The Thrill and the Agony” video has been shared out, and perhaps not surprisingly, it captures Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa trading verbal shots.
The undefeated middleweights have been going at it through social media and interviews for quite sometime now. The rivalry kicked into high gear after Adesanya took a poke at Costa’s reach (or lack thereof in comparison to him) and his size. The powerful fighter didn’t appreciate the comments,and since then, tensions between the two have escalated, big time.
Well, as you can see by watching the video below, after Adesayna finished Robert Whittaker to unify the middleweight titles, it wasn’t long before he and Costa ‘talked’.
Costa (13-0), who is coming off a decision win over Yoel Romero, is expected to challenge Adesanya (18-0) next.
