Meghan Markle’s half sister Samantha Markle spoke out this week to slam the Duchess of Sussex for complaining about how difficult life is for her as a royal in the ITV documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.”
Sisters Blasts Meghan’s “Audacity”
Daily Mail reported that in the documentary, the Duchess of Sussex was seen fighting back tears as she lamented, “Not many people have asked if I’m okay.”
Samantha said afterwards that she could not believe that Meghan had the “audacity” to make this remark given the fact that she has not asked their father Thomas Markle Sr. if he was okay after his many health crises in the recent years.
“‘I thought: ‘Wow, did you ever ask dad if he was okay during two heart attacks?'” Samantha said in an interview with Inside Edition.

Samantha then discussed Meghan’s recent complaining. The Duchess feels the negative press received since marrying Prince Harry in May of 2018 is “unfair”.
“She knew exactly what she was doing, so, hey you got what you wanted,” Samantha said.
“I think it is really ludicrous that someone who is escorted around the world by millions of dollars worth of security on private jets as a millionaire could ever complain about anything.”
Samantha Markle’s “Truth”
When Samantha was asked about the criticisms she has received for attacking her sister, she replied, “Telling the truth is not being mean.”
Not everything that Samantha had to say about Meghan was negative, however. When asked about the Duke and Duchess’ baby Archie, Samantha said, “He is adorable. He looks like Harry.”
Samantha’s latest criticism of Meghan follows the Duchess’ recent pity party. Meghan wanted sympathy for the negative media coverage she’s received since becoming a royal.
“I never thought that this would be easy, but I thought it would be fair,” Meghan whined. “And that’s the part that’s really hard to reconcile.”

Meghan Markle’s Negative Press
Many have pointed out that Meghan is the last person who should be complaining about anything right now, as her multi-million dollar lifestyle is completely funded by British taxpayers.
In fact, much of the negative press coverage she has received is for her overspending of these hard-earned tax dollars on things like a $3 million home renovation and on private jet trips around the world.
Samantha’s frequent criticisms of Meghan can be difficult to watch. That said, we think her half sister is actually on to something here.
Meghan is a Duchess. She lives a cushy taxpayer-funded lifestyle that millions of people all over the world could only dream of. Yet Meghan still finds reasons to whine and complain.
