Ronda Rousey

Rumors of Ronda Rousey returning to wrestling have been rampant for weeks now. Even though she was set to start a family with her husband, it seems Ronda may have changed her mind. Recent rumors indicate that Ronda Rousey’s return to the WWE ring is imminent. In fact, the arrival of Paul Heyman as Raw executive direction could have something to do with Ronda’s potential return. Here is the story.

Ronda Rousey Is Still Under A WWE Contract

Ronda Rousey

Even though Ronda Rousey stated her desire to begin a family, many fans are not aware that Rousey is still under a contract with the WWE. In fact, it is claimed her contract runs until 2021, which means “The Baddest Woman On The Planet” may be returning sooner than we thought.

Since Rousey left the WWE, there has been a serious problem with the women’s division. While it is of no fault of the female talent on the roster, it seems like the WWE has lost a little bit of interest in its women’s division. While there are still major attractions such as Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, something seems to be missing since Rousey left for her hiatus.

Rousey Worked With Heyman

Ronda Rousey has worked with Paul Heyman closely during her last tenure. As Heyman is now the executive director of the Raw brand, it is no stretch to think that Ronda might be even more interested to make her return now. After all, she stated she missed wrestling in one of her YouTube videos, making fans speculate that she may return before starting a family with her husband Travis Scott.

Some superstars are expected to get a push in the nearby future, which did not get the attention they deserved in the first place. If rumors are right, then the WWE have given up on the Lacey Evans push and are now considering Ember Moon. If Ronda were to return, Ember Moon is certainly not a bad woman to feud with. Of course, fans are still waiting for the one-on-one between Becky Lynch and Ronda too, so there are endless booking possibilities.

Of course, there is plenty of speculation at this point and little evidence to back it all up. Much like the return of the Hardy Boyz back in the day, everyone knew it was only a matter of time before it happened, but seeing it was something completely different. If Ronda is set to return, I am under no illusion that the WWE are trying to hide it as much as humanly possible. Her arrival was not a well-kept secret, as most people knew. However, the time where she made her debut was. Therefore, I don’t think we will really know when Ronda will appear until it actually happens.
