-It has been previously reported that Ruby Riott had to undergo surgery on her shoulder, leading to her time off of television.

As luck would have it, the Superstar needed not one but two procedures-one on each shoulder. As it turns out, the second surgery took place yesterday, as confirmed by Ruby Riott on social media.

Round 2… Fight!

The surgeries, and injuries that lead up to them, are unfortunate. Between the Women’s Tag Team Championships and a bit of a lack of good depth, having a talent like Riott would be a welcomed thing.

Now, because of the surgeries, we have no timetable for her return. That said, piecing together some of the clues, a return for Ruby Riott at the Royal Rumble in 2020 does not seem to be out of the realm of possibility.

-Speaking of Superstars down with injury…where’s Bobby Lashley been?

The Superstar seemed to be on the verge of something big, working alongside some of the company’s top heels in recent months. However, an injury has derailed any possible push.

Lashley has been noticeably absent in recent weeks. Pro Wrestling Sheet is now reporting that the reason for his absence is tied to a recent surgical procedure. Lashley was suffering from bone chips in his elbow. The injury was nagging enough that it was time to have things cleaned out.

It should be seen as a minor procedure. As such, it would seem like The All Mighty should not be off of WWE programming too long.

One supposition is that Lashley should be good to go come September. Considering the timing, and what happens in October, it’s worth wondering if we might not see Lashley back on television until it’s time for SmackDown to change channels.
