There are plenty of compelling and high stake fights scheduled for UFC 239 tomorrow, but increasingly, it seems like Jorge Masvidal and Ben Askren are stealing the spotlight.
The welterweights have been trading verbal shots through the media and online for multiple weeks, and now, Askren’s posted video of the two exchanging words prior to Wednesday’s media day. As you can see by watching the clip below, Masvidal warns Askren that his face is going to be broken Saturday, while the latter remains calm, and calls “Gamebred” tough.
You can also watch Masvidal and Askren chirping at each other during the media day faceoffs here. All this aside, tomorrow’s fight also has the potential to deliver the winner a title shot. So, it’s a huge bout for both men.
Here is the line-up for UFC 239, which will take place in Las Vegas.
