Jon Moxley’s AEW Contract + Would Goldberg Wrestle Again?

-All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has a decent roster for a new promotion, especially with the additions of former WWE Champions Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose (now going by Jon Moxley). While WWE tried everything to keep Moxley, he ultimately signed with AEW and debuted at their first show Double Or Nothing.

As for Moxley’s contract, it is said to be for three years and Rajah reports that there is an option for him to opt out of the deal after one year. While this could be good news for WWE, Moxley was not happy with the direction of his character. The report also continued that before Moxley signed with AEW, WWE was under the impression that he would return at the Royal Rumble or at least in 2020. That is no longer the case as Moxley also works for New Japan Pro Wrestling and makes appearances at some Indy shows.

Last weekend, Moxley made his AEW in-ring debut at Fyter Fest by defeating Joey Janela in a non-sanctioned match. It is believed he will take on Kenny Omega at All Out on August 31 from Illinois’ Sears Centre Arena.

– Last time fans saw Goldberg, he suffered a concussion early in his match against Undertaker at Super ShowDown and the rest of the bout quickly went downhill. Some have questioned if Goldberg is done wrestling after that train wreck, but he took to Twitter to say that he needs to erase the memory.

For Goldberg to return, the money would need to be right. If he wants to earn a huge payment for one final match, it would likely take place at WrestleMania or one of the events from Saudi Arabia.
