Jimmy Uso Arrested For DUI & WWE Reacts

As per a report from TMZ, WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso, who resides on the Monday Night RAW brand, was arrested near Pensacola, Florida earlier today for driving under the influence (DUI).

Jimmy was booked at 3:03 a.m. (EST) and charged for “driving with an unlawful blood alcohol level”. As of this writing, Uso was still in jail, and a bond for his release was set at $1,000.

This isn’t the first time Uso has been arrested, as earlier this year in February, Jimmy had a similar run in with the law when he had a drunken confrontation with Detroit police and was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction. In fact, the WWE poked fun at the above arrest when John Cena engaged in a rap battle of sorts with The Usos during the RAW Reunion opener, joking around about their past “mug shots”.

The company has reacted to Uso’s arrest, issuing a media statement on this incident, below:

“Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions.”

This WWE statement comes as no surprise to sports entertainment media and fans, as the company has made similar comments as it relates to talents and their alcohol-related charges in the past. WNZ will stay abreast of this developing story.

– On to some good news for a change, it seems as if the mood backstage for this week’s RAW Reunion was a positive one. As per the Twitter handle WrestleVotes, there was a nice vibe backstage. In fact, there seemed to have been an overall better backstage feeling on both RAW and SD LIVE this week. See tweet below:

Both Mark Henry and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin have stated that there was a real sense of “family” backstage during the special RAW Reunion show, this week. Good to hear that things may be turning around in this regard and that moral among superstars may be inching up some notches when it comes to the backstage area.
