A television taping of Monday Night Raw was schedule to take place at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow. However, fans received an email this week, stating that the taping is cancelled. While the event is continuing without the taping, many fans are furious.
So, this is the weird thing about the cancellation. The event continues as planned, but it will not be taped for television. The company claims that the same wrestlers will appear as advertised, even though they mention that the lineup is subject to change on their regular ticket sites. So, how can the event be exactly the same if it is not a Monday Night Raw taping?
The email received by fans who were set to attend the television taping mentioned the following:
“Although no longer a RAWTV show, the line up of WWE superstars scheduled to appear remains the same.”
“If you no longer wish to attend the event due to this change, please contact your original point of purchase by 28 July.”
“I’ll be getting a refund. Not paying the money for a house show.” – John Paul Husk“Absolute jokers man. Only reason I bought tickets was cause it was a RAW taping and I can’t get a refund cause I’ve told my niece we are going. Went to the live event last year and it was just meh. Wanted the real thing!” – Scott Leslie“Got email saying @WWE #Raw is no longer getting filmed in Glasgow on 11th November – now a live show, not filmed. Claims same talent but how is that possible if a Monday night.” – Kevin Parkinson
