Chick-Fil-A

Chick-Fil-A is as well known for tremendous customer service as they are for their delicious chicken. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is treated well. But, a teenage employee of the beloved fast food company is being credited with going way beyond expectations by saving the life of a child in the drive-thru lane.

Logan Simmons was working the drive-thru at the Flowery Branch, Georgia Chick-fil-A when he saw a child choking on his seatbelt. The boy’s mother was begging for help as her son’s seatbelt was twisted around his neck.

“You could see he was turning red and losing pigmentation in his face,” the chicken sandwich serving hero said.

The fast-acting Chick-fil-A employee wasted no time. He jumped through the drive-thru window. Logan then used his pocket knife to free the child from the seatbelt that was strangling him. Not only is Logan fast on his feet, but he was amply prepared with his pocketknife.

“I’m just so thankful everyone is okay. As soon as I realized what was going on, all I could think about was getting to the car as quickly as possible, so I jumped through the window,” Logan told Yahoo Lifestyle. “I’m still a little shocked by what happened, but I’m grateful I was able to help.”

Video of Logan jumping through the drive-thru window can be seen below. He certainly proved that not all heroes wear capes. Sometimes they wear a Chick-fFil-A uniform.

Wow! Chick-Fil-A clearly only hires the best people to serve what many of us refer to as “God’s chicken.”

The accolades for this teen are rolling in, but Logan is quite the humble hero. “I just jumped out the window and ran straight down to the car,” he said.

And thank God he did!
