WWE Releases Names For The Cast Of Their New Movie!

The Main Event is a WWE movie, set to be released in 2020 on Netflix. This film will be about an 11-year-old boy who finds a magical mask and then sets off to enter a competition to become the next WWE superstar. The role is expected to be played by Seth Car, an 11-year-old who previously played in the Black Panther. Of course, several wrestlers are also expected to make an appearance in the film and the company has now released those names!

The Current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston is insanely popular at the moment, so it is no surprise that the company will attempt to cash-in on that popularity by including him in the film. Of course, it is a great opportunity for Kofi as well, who has been with the company for a very long time.

The Miz

A film like this would not be complete without the company’s biggest movie star – apart from The Rock of course – Michael “The Miz” Mizanin. Miz has done a number of movies for the company in the past; this includes the famous Marine films. Of course, he did many other movie roles in the past; this includes Santa’s Little Helper, The Campaign, Fighting with My Family, Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon, and more. He has also been in various television series; this includes Supernatural, Sirens, and many others.

Of course, Miz will be super-busy in between his new movie role and wrestling, as he and his lovely wife Maryse are now expecting another baby. Miz and Maryse also have their own reality show Miz & Mrs, which has been really successful. Even me and my other half are addicted to the show, which is quite exceptional when you consider my other half is not a fan of the reality TV genre. Either way, we are looking forward to seeing the Miz in this new film

Sheamus

Another name that has been revealed for the latest film is Sheamus, real name Stephen Farrelly. The Irish wrestler has been a fan favorite for years, despite the fact he has been a heel for many years.

Sheamus has been expanding his horizons lately, especially since it was revealed that he suffers from stenosis. While he was not expected to continue to wrestle after the reveal in 2017, Sheamus is very much still in competition.

Despite the stenosis diagnosis, Sheamus has been taking on some extra projects. One of them is his YouTube Channel “Celtic Warrior Workouts”, which me and my other half have been following religiously as well. There are some great workouts up there, wonderful for those workout bunnies among us.

Of course, Sheamus is not new to the movie world either. In the past, he has been in movies such as The Buddy Games, Fighting with My Family, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and loads more. So, this movie role is certainly nothing new for this WWE superstar.
