– Monday Night RAW took place in L.A. last night, and as such, the WWE Universe tends to be privy to some famous and familiar faces in and around backstage and ringside. While we didn’t see them on screen, according to PW Insider, 16-time WWE Champion John Cena was in attendance backstage last night, along with former Divas Champions Nikki and Brie Bella.
As per the report, when it came to the Bella Twins, the sisters were filming content for the WWE, which included Carpool Karaoke spots with Brie’s husband and current SmackDown LIVE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan. This was also a part of the Late Late Show with James Corden. In addition, the Bella Twins were also doing some community outreach work for Unicef and Girl Up. While they were around during the day backstage, the Bellas seemingly did not stay once the show got underway.
Both Nikki and Brie are very busy with many outside endeavours from the WWE; however, they still continue to work as brand ambassadors for the company now and again, and are still very much a part of the WWE Universe.
– Meanwhile, John Cena was backstage at RAW during the broadcast, but was not a part of the show this week. PW Insider did not report any filming activities for company projects, so it is likely that Cena showed up to catch up with friends and old colleagues. He has a very full plate and busy work schedule outside of the WWE, involved in the upcoming Fast & Furious franchise flick, as well as being the host of the new Nickelodeon’s Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader.
Wonder if Nikki and John ran into each other? From both reports, it seems like there was a minor chance of that happening; however, it would’ve been interesting to be a fly on the wall if that did occur.
