AEW

The WWE roster has been suffering from low moral backstage. Since the arrival of AEW, a lot of wrestlers are looking to make the switch. But what makes this new promotion so attractive for current WWE wrestlers? Let us look at some of the comments made by wrestlers who have already madeĀ  the switch.

AEW Offers A Less Intensive Road Schedule

AEW

One of the biggest attractions for WWE superstars is the less intensive road schedule that AEW offers. Compared to the WWE, AEW is a lot more docile when it comes to travelling. The indie promotion is more willing to give its wrestlers time off. Considering this is one of the hardest things in the wrestling industry, it is certainly a big plus for wrestlers looking to move companies.

More Growth For Younger Wrestlers

When you work for the WWE and make the switch from NXT to the main roster, you could be in for a very hard time. Wrestlers like Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Aleister Black, and Ricochet were huge in NXT, only to hit a wall when they came to the main roster. It almost seems like Vince has a dislike for NXT wrestlers coming up.

That being said, there have been some success stories from NXT, Alexa Bliss being the most notable one. Still, times are certainly uncertain for the NXT roster. Given the extraordinary talent on that roster, I would not be surprised some are considering a switch.

Ties With AEW

Since some wrestlers who used to work at the WWE have defected to AEW, there are some ties between existing WWE wrestlers and the new promotion. According to rumors, Goldust has received multiple text messages from unhappy WWE wrestlers. So, we may not have seen the last of WWE migrations. The latest names on the list? Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, The Revival, Sasha Banks, and more.
