The relationship of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton is still going as strong as ever, and this week, Gwen is opening up about what has impressed her most about Blake.
In Touch Weekly reported that it’s the bond Blake has with Gwen’s three young sons from marriage to ex-husband Gavin Rossdale that really impressed her.
“He’s extremely close to them,” a source said of Blake and Gwen’s three sons, Kingston, 13, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 5. Another source said that Blake is madly in love with Gwen, who he finds to be “like one of the guys.”
“She stays away from the Hollywood scene and is a total homebody,” the insider said. “Take away her celebrity status and she shares the same traditional Midwestern values as Blake.”
Though Gwen lives in Los Angeles, she’s been spending a lot of time on Blake’s Oklahoma ranch, bringing her sons with her when she goes there. A source said that Blake loves running around outside with the three boys when they visit.
“Blake loves getting dirty with the boys. They’re always playing basketball or running around,” a source said. “They love it there because it’s just the five of them out on the land, hunting or hiking.”
As for Gavin, he recently opened up about what co-parenting with Gwen is like.
“You know, we both manage to feed them and get them to school on time, more or less!” he said of his boys. “They are doing really good. They’re really happy, and that’s it. We’re doing the best we can.”
When asked about Gwen, Gavin said, “I just always want her to be happy.”
It’s so nice to see that Gwen and Gavin are co-parenting so well and that she has finally found happiness again with Blake. Divorced couples from all over the country can learn a lot from this trio and the way that they are living their lives!
