– According to a PW Insider report, this past June 18th, CM Punk submitted a countersuit against Colt Cabana, a former friend of his. It is said that he is looking for $600,000 for general damages, in addition to legal fees and interest, in regard to an amended lawsuit in which Colt filed in the summer of last year.
People will always try to get you to be who they want you to be. Always try to get you to do what they want you to do. The more they do, the less they’re focused on themselves. Focus on you and yours and you win.

If fans will recall, WWE’s doctor Chris Amann sued both Cabana and Punk back in 2015 around comments made during Colt’s podcast where Punk was the guest. While the ruling went in favor of the two friends, Cabana launched a suit against Punk in August 2018 around fraud and breach of contract for legal fees linked to the Amann lawsuit. Colt stated that Punk had promised to cover said legal fees, but the legal team linked to Punk dropped Cabana as a client. After the falling out, Cabana hired his own legal representation and is seeking $200,000 around these legal fees and other damages.
Further, CM Punk has relayed that legal fees between him and Cabana in regard to the Amann suit cost over $1.2 million, money that was never reimbursed. Punk has also stated that the Cabana podcast interview was very popular; however, he was never compensated for this.
The report stated that Colt Cabana is to respond to this countersuit by July 3rd.
WNZ will keep fans abreast as this story continues to unravel.
