-Since Kevin Owens returned, he’s had himself an interesting few months.
First, it seemed as though we would be getting a babyface Owens. And we did, although it was an incredibly brief run as one.
Owens had himself a WWE Championship match before Kofimania took over.
He returned to his heelish ways, and has reunited with friend Sami Zayn.
Now, it appears he might have another WWE Championship opportunity headed his way.
Per the Wrestling Observer, there was a reason Owens picked up the pin for the win last night at Stomping Grounds. It is believed that the plans right now for Extreme Rules will feature a triple threat match for the WWE Championship, with Kofi Kingston defending against both Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens.
It will interesting to see if WWE takes the belt off of Kofi in July, or if they run with Kofimania through SummerSlam in August.
-Seth Rollins has been known to make interesting comments on social media. The Universal Champion recently tweeted that WWE boasts the best wrestling on the planet. It’s good to see the Universal Champ enjoy matches like the cruiserweight title match last night.
This got the attention of one Wil Ospreay, who is impressing on a regular basis over in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
I’m alive. https://t.co/l7zxy5yHY9

In response to Ospreay’s tweet, Rollins had this wonderful retort.
Ahhhh I’m sorry little guy. We already have a better version of you here and he just won his first US Title tonight (Congrats @KingRicochet). Keep working hard though buddy! https://t.co/JwB36iWaIg

It is worth noting that, so far, there have been no rumblings of Ospreay being linked to WWE. Given how talented he is (and check his matches with Ricochet as further evidence), he’s certainly a talent that fans would love to watch.
