Lori Loughlin’s Career Takes ANOTHER Hit!

Lori Loughlin got more bad news this week when her show “When Calls The Heart” explained her character’s absence on Sunday night, making it clear that she will never be coming back to the series.

Fox News reported that Loughlin was fired from the Hallmark Channel television series after her infamous college admissions scandal came to light. “When Calls The Heart” returned to television on Sunday night, and the show explained the absence of Loughlin’s character Abigail Stanton by saying that she was gone and would never be coming back.

“It’s been a week since Abigail got word that her mother had taken ill back east. True to her nature, Abigail wasted no time in rushing off to care for her. Abigail is much more than a friend, she’s family. I will miss her and Cody deeply, we all will, but we must get by as best we can,” Elizabeth Thatcher, a character played by Erin Krakow, revealed in a letter. “…In her absence, we must soldier on and we will. We are a community, we are strong, we are Hope Valley.”

Fans had been worried that the show would suffer without Loughlin, as her character played a major role in the series. However, producers spoke out to assure fans that there were many other stories to tell.

“As you can imagine, everyone involved with ‘When Calls the Heart’ was surprised by these developments, so we hope you can forgive us for initially staying silent while we sorted through how to respond,” the show’s producers said in a statement. “With the full support of the network, we have gone on a creative hiatus to do some retooling on the remaining Season 6 episodes. That process has already begun. Hope Valley will return to your TV screens as soon as we can bring the episodes to you.”

While it’s sad that Loughlin’s character is no longer on the show, this is frankly exactly what the actress deserves. If she wanted to continue acting, she should have thought about her future career before she paid bribe money to have her two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California. Since Loughlin is now facing forty years in prison, being fired from “When Calls The Heart” is the least of her worries. Though Loughlin may succeed in earning redemption and returning to acting sometime in the future, it’s clear that this will not be happening anytime soon.

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
