Big E's Return

Kofi Kingston’s journey to become WWE Champion was thanks to New Day members Big E & Xavier Woods surviving a gauntlet match to allow their friend a title shot at WrestleMania 35. Shortly after Kingston’s title win, Big E went down with a knee injury.

While off TV, Big E has kept his social media presence going strong. Fans keeping asking when he will return and the time grows longer with each passing day. Last time we checked, Big E said he would be out until 2023.

He will be back before then and PWInsider stated that it could happen at Sunday’s Money in the Bank. At one point, the plan was for Big E to return tomorrow unless Vince McMahon has changed plans.

Kingston battles Kevin Owens at the pay per view. The match came about after Owens was made an honorary member of New Day. But the partnership did not last long as Owens turned on Kingston and Woods. Big E helping Kingston retain the belt at the pay per view would be the perfect way for his TV return.

– Days ago, Alexa Bliss was pulled from the Money in the Bank Ladder Match as she was not medically cleared and later replaced by Nikki Cross. While WWE did not state what the medical issue was, people believe it could involve concussions.

Bliss missed most of the second half of last year before returning at the Royal Rumble. Since then she has rarely competed, with her biggest role being the host of WrestleMania 35.

Some media outlets were claiming that Bliss’ career could be jeopardy. The former RAW and SmackDown Champion took exception to those reports and denied them on Twitter.

The Women’s Money in the Bank Match will now be Naomi vs. Natalya vs. Dana Brooke vs. Bayley vs. Mandy Rose vs. Carmella vs. Ember Moon vs. Cross.
