Not surprisingly, UFC St. Petersburg will feature several Russian fighters in action, including former M-1 Global bantamweight champ and 25-year-old prospect, Movsar Evloev.
Eloev will take on another UFC newcomer in Seung Woo Choi, and he’ll do so, having gone 10-0 to date in pro-action. Most recently, at M-1 Challenge 95 last July, the rising Russian took out Rafael Dias in the fifth round. Of Eloev’s wins, four have been way of submission and three have come via KO/TKO.
The undefeated fighter has a background in Greco-Roman wrestling and has trained with the NART Gym in Krasnodar, Russia, and Phuket Top Team in Thailand.
You can check out some of Eloev’s work below.
Choi arrives in the UFC having gone 7-1, and he’s coming off back-to-back, stoppage wins.
