Tonight’s Bellator 220 Card Is Better Than The UFC’s Card

It’s rare when it happens, which makes it noteworthy when it does.

Tonight’s Bellator 220 card, which comes to us the DAZN streaming platform, is actually better than the UFC card coming to us tonight on the ESPN+ platform.

The UFC has Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza headlining against Jack Hermansson as a main event, plus woman-beater/cheater Greg Hardy in the co-main. Bellator, meanwhile, has champ Rory MacDonald taking on human blanket Jon Fitch, as well as female flyweight champ Illima-Lei Mcfarlane, Benson Henderson, and former champs Liam McGeary and Phil Davis in a rematch.

I’m not too sure that Fitch is going to be anything other than his usual smothering self, but MacDonald is a straight-up badass who will bring more than enough violence.

Sure, MacDonald fell short when he moved up a weight class to take on Gegard Mousasi, but he’s still the best welterweight in the organization.

And I think Davis might still have some spark left in him, so his scrap with McGeary has some promise.

So what are you going to be watching tonight?
