Third Money In The Bank Match? + Takeover Card Getting New Date

– Money in the Bank is three weeks from today and some of the matches are starting to get confirmed. But, we are still waiting on word about the Money in the Bank Ladder Matches. Like the last two years, WWE is expected to announce that the male and female superstars will each get their own match.

Now, a recent graphic is adding speculation that there could be third MITB Ladder Match and it would feature NXT talent. This would be a first for WWE and the NXT brand.

As we reported, a pair of graphics have been released in the Connecticut area that seem to reveal the entrants for the men and women’s match. Whatever WWE has planned, we should know this week as there is RAW, SmackDown and NXT tapings.

– It appears that NXT’s next Takeover card could be moved due the Saudi Saudi Arabia show. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed how there are rumblings about pushing the NXT card to the following week.

WWE has confirmed their return to Saudi Arabia for June 7, which is the day before Takeover San Jose is scheduled. The location should not change, but the date likely will as WWE does not want to miss out on the massive profits from their Saudi Arabia deal. 

“I was told if they go to Saudi Arabia, then they’re not gonna do [Takeover] on the next day; at least the way things are scheduled right now” said Meltzer. 

A final call will probably made within the next few days as NXT tapes in the middle of the week. As for the Saudi Arabia show, the original date has already been moved once and WWE is yet to confirm any matches for the unnamed event. Undertaker vs. Elias has been rumored considering how they worked a segment on the RAW after WrestleMania 35.
