, Update On AJ Style’s Wreslemania Injury

– As previously reported, newly-inducted WWE Hall of Famer Brian “Road Dogg” James recently resigned from his SD LIVE Co-Head Writer role, and as shocking as that was for fans to hear, there seems to be a silver lining to the entire story.

While a report surfaced stating he was tired of Vincent Kennedy McMahon’s constant last-minute changes to the SmackDown script, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Road Dogg has a new WWE role that he will step into. James is set to become a “utility player” for the company moving forward. Due to the Fox deal on the horizon, this new job will keep him flexible when it comes to determining where he is best suited for in the near future. It was noted that this isn’t a demotion, as all parties were in agreeance. James could be placed in many a role within the company in the near future, from taking on newly-released Arn Anderson’s job and duties road producer, to being placed on commentary, where Brian would undeniably shine, thanks to his incredible personality and overall strong mic work.

It’s important to note that Brian James stepping away from the SD LIVE Head Writer role was in no means a ‘contentious’ decision. Good news for not only Road Dogg, but his many fans within the WWE Universe.

– As some may be aware, Randy Orton and AJ Styles battled it out on the Grandest Stages of Them All this past Sunday, where The Phenomenal One apparently suffered an injury.

According to PW Insider, AJ had an X-ray done, and the good news is that there were no broken bones associated with the injury, which is a great sign. No information was released around a date he would return to action; however, here’s hoping it is sooner rather than later, especially with the Superstar Shakeup on the horizon for the coming week ahead.
