Nicole Kidman Reveals Her Friends Make Fun of Her for Attending Church

Hollywood star Nicole Kidman just opened up about her strong Christian faith in a new interview, saying that she is “teased” by her friends for going to church.

Fox News reported that Kidman explained that she enjoys attending church as a family with her husband Keith Urban and their two daughters, who are aged 10 and 8. Somehow, Kidman’s friends see this as something funny that they can mock her over.

“A lot of my friends tease me,” Kidman said. “That’s how we are raising our children. Keith has his own beliefs but he comes, too. I had a very Catholic grandmother, and I was raised praying, so that had a massive impact.”

Kidman has no intention of letting this teasing from her friends, who likely are also members of the Hollywood elite, stop her from raising her daughters to believe in God. For Kidman, it’s especially important that her daughters be informed and exposed to the Christian faith.

“I wouldn’t say it’s absolutism, there’s constant questioning — I’m a willful, feisty girl,” Kidman explained. “For me, it’s very important that I don’t have judgment. My dad would always say, ‘Tolerance is the most important thing.’”

Perhaps some of Kidman’s friends should start thinking more about “tolerance” when it comes to the way they treat Christians.

It’s sad that we now live in a society where mocking Christians is seen as something that is totally alright to do. This is especially the case in the leftwing, secular world of Hollywood, where Christians are constantly targeted with the most vile and bigoted attacks with virtually no consequences handed to those who hurl them.

Can you imagine what would have happened had Kidman said she was being teased for being a Muslim? All Hell would have broken loose as liberals would have demanded that these “friends” of hers be identified and blacklisted. Since Kidman was targeted for being a Christian, however, the politically correct left does not care at all. In fact, many PC-obsessed liberals would likely say that Kidman deserves to be mocked for her Christian beliefs.

Ah, the hypocritical bigotry of liberals!
