Daniel Bryan And Ronda Rousey Injured At WrestleMania 35

There were several superstars injured at WrestleMania 35, including top names AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan and Ronda Rousey. After an X-ray, Styles seems to be okay and should be back on TV in the coming weeks.

As for Bryan, word from Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio is that the former WWE Champion was possibly injured during his title loss to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35. Nothing has been confirmed as Bryan is set to be examined this week, but the belief is some sort of injury did occur. He was sent home earlier in the week and did not appear on Tuesday’s SmackDown.

The injury could be anything, but there has to be major concern if it involves the head, neck or spine region. Bryan missed around two years of action after having to retire from in-ring competition due to concussions. After meeting with several renown doctors, WWE cleared Bryan to return at WrestleMania 34. After months as a face, he turned heel back in November to win the WWE Championship from AJ Styles.

During the main event of WrestleMania 35, Ronda Rousey thought she broke her knuckles. It turns out there was a break, but it involved her hand. The belief is Rousey will undergo surgery on Tuesday.

Rousey was backstage at RAW wearing a cast on her hand, but she not appear on TV. The idea heading into WrestleMania 35 was that Rousey would take a break from WWE; with a return date closer to SummerSlam or early 2020, but that is not set in stone. Rousey has mentioned wanting to start a family and her hiatus from WWE has nothing to do with a possible return to the UFC. Her UFC days seem to be over with pro wrestling and Hollywood being some new adventures.

Stay tuned for updates on Bryan and Rousey.
