Three key bouts to Bellator 222 are now official including the main event between middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi and Rafael Lovato Jr.
Set for June 22, the card airs on Paramount Network and DAZN from the SSE Arena in London, England.
Mousasi was scheduled to defend his belt vs. Lovato back in January at Bellator 214, but an injury forced the champion out. He won the title in early 2018 with a first round finish of Rafael Carvalho and scored a second round TKO this past September over Rory MacDonald.
Lovato is a perfect 9-0 in his MMA career, including five victories with Bellator. He has submitted his last two opponents and owns six submission wins in all.
Along with Mousasi vs. Lovato, Paul Daley takes on Erick Silva and James Gallagher battles Jeremiah Labiano.
