During the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday night, Hollywood star Chris Pratt shocked everyone by stepping onstage to perform with country music legend Garth Brooks.

Fox News reported that when it came time for Brooks to receive the Artist of the Decade honor during the show, Pratt walked onstage to introduce him. After offering to play Brooks in a movie, Pratt surprised his fans by performing Brooks’ hit song “Friends In Low Places” with the singer.

Once they were done singing, Brooks gave a brief speech in which he gave thanks to God and his family.

“They said to keep it short,” Brooks said. “I had the time of my life in the ’90s, went on to raise my kids. Anybody who’s ever had children, it’s the greatest time of your life, and then to get to come back, and it be like this, the only way possible is three things man: The people, music, and God himself!”

As for Pratt, he made it clear that singing with Brooks was a moment that he’ll never forget. He took to Instagram to post a photo of their duet along with the caption, “Welp. I guess I died and gone to heaven.”

“It was an honor to sing with you and the band on stage,” Pratt added of Brooks. “I can’t wait for the upcoming stadium tour. God is so good. Thank you thank you thank you.”

It’s so refreshing to have Hollywood stars like Pratt and Brooks who love God, the military, and country music. Most Hollywood celebrities these days are radical liberals who use their platforms to bash our great nation whenever they can. Pratt, in contrast, is using his platform to spread love and the word of God. No wonder Brooks wanted him to join him onstage for a song!

God bless you, Chris Pratt. We need more celebrities like you in Hollywood!
