– Last year, a major story was Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement for at least one more match. It led to talk of another match at Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and/or WrestleMania 35. In the end, Michaels made the one appearance at Crown Jewel and that was it. WrestleVotes noted how the odds of Michaels competing again inside a ring are very slim.

The reason for Michaels likely staying retired is a result of what happened at Crown Jewel. Michaels reformed DX to take on the Brothers of Destruction (Undertaker & Kane). During the match, Triple H tore his pectoral and required surgery. It was said the injury became an eye opener for the 53 year old.

Michaels originally retired at WrestleMania 26, after failing to defeat the Undertaker in his second attempt at a WrestleMania event. Michaels looked okay in the ring at Crown Jewel, but nine years away and with his age only going up, it clearly appeared that “The Showstopper” was missing a few steps.

At this year’s Hall of Ceremony, Michaels welcome the second person to enter the hollowed grounds for the second time as DX joins. The first is Ric Flair, whose WWE career was ended at WrestleMania 24 due to Shawn Michaels.

– Harper returned to action at last nights RAW live event from Rochester, New York. In his first match back since injury, Harper defeated Mojo Rawly.

When Rowan suffered an injury at SummerSlam in August, The Bludgeon Brothers were forced to drop the SmackDown Tag Team Titles two days later on SmackDown to the New Day. Harper disappeared from TV and was later seen wearing a cast on his left arm.

There is no word on what the future might hold for Harper. He could reunite with Rowan, who recently returned as a bodyguard for WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. So, there is a chance Harper gets involved in tonight’s Fastlane title match with Bryan and Kevin Owens.

Below are photos of Harper returning to action.
