Joy Behar and Jimmy Kimmel Learn Their Fate After Blackface Scandals
Last month, we reported that Joy Behar and Jimmy Kimmel each had images and videos surface of them wearing blackface. Their boss, the head of Disney, has just broken his silence about their respective blackface scandals, calling the situation a “private matter.”
The scandals began last month when an image of Behar emerged dressed as what she described as a “beautiful African woman” when she was 29 years old in the early 1970s. Around the same time, a series of videos resurfaced showing Kimmel wearing blackface while mocking public African American figures like Karl Malone and Oprah Winfrey.
Daily Mail reported that Disney CEO Bob Iger addressed the situation during a recent shareholder meeting. He explained that the situation had been dealt with promptly but would not give any more details.
“This particular incident we choose to deal with as a private matter,” Iger said. “We don’t condone the use of blackface under any circumstance in our world today.”
Behar and Kimmel given free passes because they’re liberal
He added that the scandal had been dealt with privately and that no further comment was necessary. We would imagine that Iger and his fellow liberals would feel very differently if Behar and Kimmel were two conservatives. Should that have been the case, the left would have undoubtedly used the blackface scandals to silence Behar and Kimmel forever by swiftly blacklisting them. Since both Behar and Kimmel are liberals, however, they have been given free passes.
Liberals are protecting Behar and Kimmel because the two are outspoken leftists who use their daily talk shows to spew leftwing propaganda. They are far too useful as weapons for the left for liberals to allow them to go down because of a racism scandal. When a conservative is accused of racism, the left sharpens their pitchforks and makes sure the person is immediately destroyed. When liberals like Behar and Kimmel do something racist, however, the left ensures that they are kept safe.
This is why Behar and Kimmel are undoubtedly breathing a sigh of relief right now. As liberals, they have nothing to fear.
